The 50th Reunion of Olympia High School's
Class of 1974

The Dates-

August 16, 17 & 18, 2024

We are planning an epic Shindig going down memory lane for this once-in-a-lifetime event. We’ve reached this epic milestone and it’s time to celebrate, reconnecting with old friends and connecting with new friends. Share experiences of life in the 60’s & 70’s in Olympia. Those were some extra special times of our lives. Don’t worry about not remembering people, at our age, it’s common!  Stay the weekend and enjoy the company. All classes are invited!!

The Venue-

Skookum Creek Events Center at The Little Creek Casino Resort

The Little Creek Casino Resort and Skookum Creek Event Center is only 15 minutes Northwest of Olympia at the intersection of Highway 101 and WA-108.  There is recently renovated lodging, 9 restaurants, indoor heated saltwater pool, spas, casinos, a golf course and many other entertainment options!

Your Olympia High School Class of 1974’s 50th Reunion will be a once-in-a-lifetime event and we aim to make it a memorable event. 

  • Full catered buffet with a full no host bar with non-alcohol options.
  • Classmate Memorial Area – Honoring our classmates that have passed.
  • Dancing (shuffling) to hours of 60’s and 70’s era music videos.
  • Blasts from the past – Hours of never seen before nostalgia films, cartoons, commercials, top ten lists, and TV specials on the Events Center’s two large screens! 
  • OHS Olympiad photos, class pictures slideshows plus articles and photos from the Daily O. Photos from Grade School and Junior Highs too!
  • The 20th, 40th and 45th Reunion Videos and photos.
  • Many tables full of nostalgic memorabilia: Olympia History, Olympia Brewery, Grade Schools, OHS Sports, Music, Theater.
  • Special faculty and other special guests.

    The Skookum Creek Event Center is an open arena with tall ceilings and good lighting.
    Decorative eating area with table service alongside the buffet and bars.

  • Cocktail table visiting area.
  • A large, covered Veranda is at the entrance.  Propane heaters and cocktail tables are available. Smoking is allowed outside by the “Sophomore Pond”. “Four-Square” area!
  • A low sensory relaxed area in the arena’s SkyBoxes for an isolated laid-back comfortable seating and meeting area overlooking the floor. This area is elevator serviced.

Outdoor games start at 1pm
with the doors opening 
Saturday Afternoon at 3:30pm
with program start at 5pm.

Friday August 16th 
4 pm Resort Welcome – There will be an Oly Class of 74 Information Table near the Concierges Desk at the Front Desk check-in area. There you will find information on what will be happening during the weekend. Check-in and let others know you’re here on the message board. Enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants at the facility and then we will all meet at the Starlight Sports Bar Lounge (or other area) for the evening get together. For those not staying at the resort, please join us at the lounge anytime during the evening! It’s only a 15-minute drive from Olympia.

Saturday August 17th 
Noon – 3 pm Event Center Setup (Volunteers welcomed!)
1-4 pm Lawn Games in front of Events Center – Jenga, Cornhole, etc.
Outside gathering area – Have a smoke by our recreated Sophomore Pond!

3:30 pm Doors Open – Beverage Service / 50’s videos
4:30 pm Appetizers Served – Announcements 60’s videos
5:30 pm Buffet Start – Welcome – 70s videos / Slideshows
6:30 pm In Memoriam slideshow
6:45 pm Group Photo Call ups – Recreations – Grade Schools – Clubs
9:45 pm Closing Announcements
10 pm Starlight Sports Bar

The Admission Fee-

Our mission is to financially enable all our classmates that want to go to The 50th, to be able to go, financially.

    • To that end we are offering a $40 discount on the admissions fee program and also offering free Reunion Admissions. Please do not hesitate to apply, as we have several full reunion Scholarships available! It is funded by generous classmates donating to the Reunion Scholarship Fund. Please consider donating to it, if you are able to.

If you wish to buy a reunion admission AND donate to the scholarship fund, please sign up for those separately. You may pay once, but please fill in both forms.
